Hi,
When I'm using my USB headphones, every time I disconnect them from my computer, if Jaws is still running, it crashes. It gives the standard Windows error when this happens. It's annoying, but not nearly as annoying as the next problem I have.
Whenever I plug the same pair of headphones into my USB hub, every so often, either the volume goes way up or the Jaws voice starts sounding really odd. It sounds higher pitched and robotic. I'm not sure how else to describe it. The really weird thing is, if I tap the button on the headphones once that would normally make the volume go up, it goes back down to the volume I had it set at previously.
I've noticed these problems on my old xp computer, and now on my Vista machine as well. I haven't tried them on my laptop which is running 7, because I don't use it much, but I suspect I would have the same problems. I don't know if it makes a difference, but the headphones are the Microsoft Life Chat series. If there's anything I can do to fix these problems, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks.
yeah, that happened to my vista machine as well. Jaws as well as any other music I haave playing in say, winamp will also stop working and you have to restart the program.
this hasn't happened on seven so they might've fixed this problem.
